Guide to Denver Street Art
If you’ve ever been to Denver (or you’re planning to visit in the future,) a trip to the Mile High city would not be complete without admiring the street art.
In my opinion, the best way to see the most murals is to do a walking tour. There are tour companies offering tours, or you can opt for a self guided tour! Trust me, you will see plenty of beautiful art either way!
I recommend starting in the RiNo (River North) district because there is a large concentration (80+) mural walls in that area. I started near the central market and you can basically just pick any direction to walk and start exploring! I worked my way to Larimer street and there was definitely no shortage of fun pieces to check out. If you find a mural that is your favorite, be sure to take a picture! The cool thing about the murals in Denver is that they’re always changing. Every September there is a festival called CRUSH Walls where street artists come from near and far to make new murals. I felt that it brings a lot of color and culture to the city and I really enjoyed seeing how creative many of these murals are!
